I need a place to track my books. I read books in all forms and all the time but can never recall what I have read when someone asks me for recommendations. Here is will keep a haphazard list. Some recommendations, some reviews, some just titles. But books. My lover. My breath. My soul in ink.
My list:
"Never Let me Go" by Kazuo Ishiguro. Strange and somewhat disturbing dystopian book. We read it for book club. I liked it. There's a movie. I'm looking forward to watching that.
"Flight Behaviour" by Barbara Kingsolver - incredible. Read it. I love Kingsolver and love her characters, her science, her setting.
"419" by Will Ferguson - interesting. Well written but not a book that I would read again. Good though. And educational. I just didn't get lost in it.
"The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern - this I got lost in. Incredible (i use that descriptor a lot). The characters are beautiful. The plot was enticing. I will read this again. So delicious.
